Sheena Leigh Martin is my chosen name.

See, my Adoptive Dad named me after the comic books “Of the Jungle”, and well, Sheila isn’t Sheena.  Sheena is cooler. Leigh is the weirdness that tie me to a family I didn’t know about until I was 52.  See I gave Leigh as a middle name to my daughter, because I liked how it sounded, it was better than Marie or boring LEE.  When I found my bioDad with DNA in 2016, turns out my sister’s middle name… and my grandfather’s first name had it in there too.

And the Martin would have been my last name.  Martin is almost Smith, you can’t figure much out with that clue. So it can be my nom de plume. It’s my Twitter name. Being adopted and talking about all these issues upsets some people, so I am going to be brutally honest, yet don’t want to hurt people, so I (try to) hide my real name mostly from my adoptive family.  I believe in Truth, even if it sucks.

I have a background in publishing, production, marketing and administration. I’ve owned my own cafe and historic B&B, cooked all over the west, and worked for a number of HNW families taking care of their vacation homes.

I’ve solved over 35 adoptee and NPE cases , and have re-organized my life to have the opportunity to help others find their real truth, with a combination of their story, traditional detective work, and DNA results.

I also have been a traditional genealogist.  I can build your tree, and document your DNA ties in a timely manner.  I can help document your genealogy, and pass your legacy to the next generation digitally and preserved.

I am an Adoptee Life Coach, meaning, I can go over the what and the how, talk to you about where you are in your search, just go over things, and advise you on next steps.  You can talk to me the one time, and then we go from there.  I charge $40/hour.
